Cassadaga Valley Central School will be operating up to three sites for a
Summer Food Service Program beginning Thursday, July 1, 2021.
• Bulk food items for breakfast and lunch will be packed and distributed
every Thursday through September 1, 2021.
• This program makes food available for all children, 18 years old and younger.
• Children do not need to live within the Cassadaga Valley School District to participate.
• Meals will be provided on a first come, first serve basis each Thursday as follows:
Stockton Volunteer Fire Company, (tentative site) 7243 Rt 380, Stockton, 10:00am – 11:30am
BOCES at Maple Ave, 175 Maple Ave, Cassadaga 4:30pm – 6:00pm
Sinclairville Elementary School, 43 Sinclair Drive, Sinclairville, 10:00am– 6:00pm

Today's food distribution will be 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM at the M/HS gym entrance. This is for any child 18 years and younger.

The Class of 2021 celebrated their last day of classes at CVCS by having a breakfast in the parking lot this morning.
Middle School students:
Please bring your Chromebook and charging adaptor to school tomorrow, Wednesday, June 16th. Your 8th period teachers will be collecting these items from you. Please remember to turn in your charging adaptor as well.
NOTE: If you are an 8th grade student taking Living Environment with Ms. Schrantz, please keep your Chromebook until after the Regents Exam next Tuesday.
High school students can return their Chromebooks and charging cables to the M/HS main office anytime after completing their last Regents or local exam.

Many of you will remember Rayven Sample (CVCS Class of 2020). Rayven is a great track athlete and we are thrilled to share this news! Below is an email with some exciting information from his track coach, Nick Spry. Nick is a teacher at Falconer Central School, and has coached our track athletes for several years - both indoor track and during the regular track season as well. Thanks to Coach Spry for all his work and good luck to Rayven!!!

There are still a few yearbooks left for sale! High School yearbooks are $65.00, Middle School ones are $22.00. These prices include tax. Money can be brought to Mrs. Bennink in the Middle/High School in Room 125. Checks can be made out to Valley View 2021 or Cash is accepted.
On Tuesday June 15, starting at 1:30 PM until approximately 4:00 PM, the Chautauqua County Health Department will be returning to the CVCS M/HS Library to provide second doses of Pfizer vaccine to those who were vaccinated on May 25th.
All those who received their first dose on May 25 have been automatically registered to get their second dose on June 15. No additional paperwork is necessary. The first consent covers both doses in the series.
If you have anyone who is still needing a first dose, they can get it on June 15 , but they will be responsible for checking the Chautauqua County Dept. of Health website for second dose clinics or contacting local pharmacies or the Chautauqua Center to get a second dose.
Anyone needing a first dose must complete the on-line registration at https://apps2.health.ny.gov/doh2/applinks/cdmspr/2/counties?DateID=C44722BA37510350E0530A6C7C159F1F. The Health Dept. will also need a consent form for any minors looking for their first dose.
Additionally, the Chautauqua County Health Dept. will be continuing the drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinics at the bus garage on Tuesday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 22, from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM.

The CVCS Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting at 6:00 PM on Monday, June 14, 2021, to meet with the District’s architects. The regular monthly meeting will begin at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 14, 2021. Both meetings will be held in the M/HS Multipurpose Room.

Important Information for M/HS Students:
Wednesday, June 16, will be a BLUE day. (This is a change from the original calendar.) This is also the last day of instruction for students in grades 7-12.
We will be providing three bus runs for testing days (AM, Mid-Day and PM). Students must sign up for busing in the M/HS Office no later than the close of school on Monday, June 14.
